MRS. MARY KEYSER DEAD Known Lady of Somerset County Expired in Home of Daniel Saylor yesterday: {SPECIAL TO THE TRIBUNE} JENNERS NOV 21 - Mrs. Mary Keyser, aged seventy-five years, died at 5' O'clock yesterday morning at the home of Daniel Saylor who lives near the Mowry School, about 7 miles from here in Jenner Township. Mrs Keyser made her home in a small house along the Ligonier pike. She was on her way there from the home of a Johnstown family, her relatives, when taken ill. The Saylor home was the nearest refuge and she was taken in. Dr. Hertzer was called out but he could do little for the women as she was a sufferer from heart trouble and her age was against her.
Mrs. Keyser was born in Somerset County and resided in this locality all her life. She was well known in this section of the county. Her husband Peter died a number of years ago and she is survived by several children, one of whom is the wife of David Ogline, of Kline's Mill (boro of Jenners).
The remains of the aged women were taken in charge by Undertaker Friedline, and will be interned tomorrow morning in the cemetery adjoining the Free-Will Baptist Church, where services will be conducted by the Rev. Wood at 10 o'clock.
Mary H. Johnson Keyser apparently had married a Mr, Shahlis (SHAULIS) prior to 1900 dying a widow Nov 20, 1908. Pennsylvania Death Certificate #105354 indicates death caused by OLD AGE @ the Age of 61 Years, 6 Months & 23 Days the d/o of Alexander and Mary H. Johnson both born in Somerset, Somerset County, PA. Death Certificate Informant was a Lydia Piper, Boswell, PA. with burial in Baptist Cemetery, Jenner twp, Somerset County, PA.
