Diane K. Jaoua, age 67, beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away on July 26, 2006. She was born on March 13, 1939 in Sioux City, Iowa to Edmund H. Towns and Delia A. Stoner Towns. She married Eugene Lyle Jaoua on April 25, 1959 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Together they had five children: Kevin E., Mark W. and Brian E. Jaoua, Mary M. Montoya and Elisabeth K. Harris. Also surviving her are four brothers: Kirk, Steven, William and Michael Towns and three sisters: Margo Fines, Sheila Lotton and Shannon Dake. Her parents and a sister, Vicki Towns, preceded her in death. She loved Bible Study, gardening, sketching family members, learning to water color, reading, walking at the Nature Center, watching birds and butterflies, and enjoying the beauty of the changing seasons.

During cancer treatment and end of life comfort care, she learned the extent of care and love from her family, friends, neighbors, and members of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fountain. Most of all are the treasured prayers from all her family, extended family, friends and neighbors. She can never express her gratitude enough to each and everyone. Diane's family would like to also thank the staff at Pikes Peak Hospice for their wonderful care.

A Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 p.m.. Monday July 31. 2006 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 101 North Main Street, Fountain, Colorado. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, also at the church. Burial will follow the service at Fairview Cemetery in Fountain.
