Grace.I.and Mary.E.ARTHUR M KINCAID was a college graduate, he served in the United States Army during World War 1 between July 28, 1914 – November 11, 1918 as a 2nd lieutenant in Germany. Arthur spoke many languages. After the war he located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and was a School Teacher at Classen High School Oklalhoma City, OK where he met his wife Ruth Elizabeth Basore. They were married August 1931. Of this Marriage they were parents to ten children. Arthur Lewis, Elizabeth, Robert, Jerome, Paul, David, Warren, Richard, Margaret, and Charles. Arthur was a retired school teacher and a farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents: Albert Harrison Kincaid and Dora Mattox Kincaid and one son, Arthur Lewis.
Arthur had four siblings: Charles Franklin Kincaid, Grace Imogene Kincaid Coster,
Mary Ellen Kincaid Merriman and Alvan Cleveland Kincaid. Even though I was only twelve-years-old at the time of his death, I remember he worked hard at supporting his large family. Being a retired school teacher, making sure his ten children attended school and got an education was one of top priority's. His love of family is remembered as being important to him. At the time of his death, Arthur was Grandpa to two granddaughters and two grandsons.
