Memorial services for John (Jack) Allsebrooke, 83, Log Cabin, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, at St. John Lutheran Church, Athens, with the Rev. Fred Rogers officiating.
Final disposition is scheduled March 24, 2011 11:30 a.m. at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Mr. Allsebrooke died Monday, March 14, 2011 in Tyler.

He was born to the late Chester and Alice Geary Genack.

John was a resident of Henderson County since 1989. He is a World War II veteran serving both in U.S. Navy and retiring from the U.S. Air Force. He was a locksmith as well. John was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, and was an avid fisherman, loved bowling and woodwork.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Chester Genack, Jr., a sister, Miriam Genack Cronister.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Allsebrooke, Log Cabin, sons and daughter-in-law, Scott Allsebrooke, Fort Worth, Ken and Ruth Allsebrooke, Midwest City, Okla., grandchildren, Kimberly Luebeck, and Wesley Woodward; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Scott Genack, Kenosha, Wis., James Genack, Phoenix, Ariz., sisters, Gertrude Vaccarella, Kenosha, Wis., Marge Clark, Gwinn, Mich.
