1 Aug 1933 "Basil Bourelle Dies Here, Leaves 124 Descendants" Basil B. Bourelle, 85, who has 124 direct descendants, died . . . at the home of his daughter, Mrs Harry Lee, 1980 Lake Street. He had been a resident of Lincoln for 43 years. Besides his wife, Matilda, Mr. Bourelle is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Lee, Mrs. Peter De Shayes of Raymond, Mrs. Paul Orenger of Walthill, Mrs. Oliver Monette of Manteno, Ill., and Mrs. Ernest Haning of Weeping Water; two sons William of Anteno, Ill. and Philip of Alberta, Canada, 45 grandchildren; 70 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Me was born in St. Lawrence, Canada on March 15, 1848.
