Born August 14, 1934, in Kellersburg, Armstrong County, she was a daughter of Donald H and Hulda P Young Mohney.
Mrs Adams was affiliated with the Alcola United Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and was married to Lawrence Benjamin Adams, who died September 22, 1979.
Surviving are two sons, Christopher B Adams of Templeton RD 2 and Bryan S Adams of Distant; two daughters, Mrs Tom (Pam) Magagnotti of Seminole and Mrs. Ray (Tammy) Ferringer Jr of New Bethlehem Rd 3; 7 grandchildren, Peter Magagnotti, Jason Magagnotti, Kaci Hinderliter, Corey, Rachel and Nicholas Ferringer and Jeremy Adams; and two great-grandchildren.
She also is survived by two brothers, Owen Dean Mhney of Florida and Gary Mohney of Templeton RD 2 and her mother-in-law, Viola Hartzell Adams of New Bethlehem.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by a brother, Donald V Mohney.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Wednesday in the Charles D Alcorn Funeral Home, Hawthorn. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Samuel Swick of the Alcola United Church of Christ officiating.
Interment will be in the Kellersburg Cemetery, Madison Township, Armstrong County.
