Lorraine Gilzow
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home for Lorraine M. Gilzow of Eugene, who died March 16 of ovarian cancer. She was 89.
She was born Sept. 28, 1921, in Eugene to Henry and Bessie Alford Hatfield. She married S. Wallace Gilzow on Jan. 30, 1941, in Eugene.
He died Feb. 20, 2007.
She attended Eugene High School and was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Phillip of Vancouver, Wash., and Danny of Eugene; a daughter, Carolyn Thom of Eugene; and nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Remembrances to Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland.
