Carol L. "Leets" Eichenberger, 78, of Erie, also of Port Royal, died Friday, April 28, 2000, at Manchester Presbyterian Home, Erie.

Born April 7, 1922, in Port Royal, she was a daughter of the late Evard and Ida (Kepner) Meloy.

Her first husband, Paul P. Williams, died April 23, 1960.

Her second husband of 37 years, Walter W. Eichenberger of Port Royal survives.

Also surviving are: a daughter, Theresa Eichenberger, Glenside; a son,William Eichenberger, Kauai, Hawaii; and one grandchild.

She was a graduate of Port Royal High School and Polyclinic Hospital Nursing School, Harrisburg.

She was a registered nurse.

She was a former member of Port Royal Presbyterian Church and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant, Erie.

She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed dogs, boating, traveling andhunting.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m.Thursday, May 18 at Old Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
