Sarah Viola "Ola" Williams was born to William M. Williams and his first wife, Margaret Dunnavant. Ola's gravestone shows that 1872 is her year of birth, but this is incorrect. The 1880 census showed that she was one year old and that her older sister, Mary, was four years old at the time. Additional records for Mary confirm that she was indeed born in 1876, so that gives credence to Ola's birth year as 1879. Also, Ola's mother would have been only a child herself if Ola had been born in 1872. Finally, Ola's last four children were born in 1912, 1914, 1916, and 1918, which would place Ola in her forties for these four births - possible, but given the other information above, not very likely.

Ola married John Preston Youngblood on September 12, 1895, in Conecuh County, Alabama. They had two children, Maggie and Jack. Preston Youngblood died while the children were very small, and Ola married Isaac Henry Williamson, a widower with children.
