Miss Reese Weds Thad Russell In Ceremony Here
An informal ceremony performed December 23 at 6 o'clock in the evening, united Miss Nita Joyce Reese, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Reese, 954 Lamar and Thad Russell, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Russell, Tuscola, in marriage.
The double-ring vows were repeated in the chapel of the First Methodist Church with Rev. John Shuler, pastor, performing the ceremony.
The bride wore a blue wool suit with blue accessories and an orchid corsage. Miss Rita Reese, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a navy dinner dress with fitted jacket. Her accessories were navy and she wore a corsage of pink carnations.
Jack Russell of Tuscola, brother of the groom, was best man.
Others attending the attending were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Reese, parents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs . Matt Larrimore of Houston and Pfc. Scott Campbell of Camp Polk, La.
The bride was a senior in Paris High School and will continue her studies at Tuscola. The groom is a graduate of South Taylor High School and attended Texas Tech at Lubbock. He is now employed by an oil company in Tuscola, where they will make their home.
