MRS. LORENA A. MAVITY LAID TO REST HERE

Mrs. Lorena Averill Mavity, 76, died at Mast Hospital, Myrtle Point, Friday, October 6. She had made her home in Bandon for 17 years. Deceased was born February 26, 1874 at Summer Lake, Oregon. She was married to William Mavity November 16, 1933 in Eugene.

She was a member of the Eastern Start and Pythian Sisters.

Survivors include the widower and a son, Lauren Gilbert, Reedsport; six brothers, Ed Averill of Portland, William Averill of Gresham, Henry Averill of Astoria, Moss Averill of Port Orford, Ed and Lynn Averill of Corvallis; two sisters, Mrs. Mina Fruitt of Brownsville, Oregon and Mrs. Lucina Averill, Corvallis; her stepmother, Mrs. Martha Averill, Corvallis.

Last rites were conducted at the Schroeder Chapel Tuesday morning by the Rev. Barnett of Halls Creek, Oregon. Interment was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. Schroeder Brothers Mortuary was in charge.
