Funeral services for Mrs. Lydia A. Ewald, 83, of 176 E. White St., Oakfield, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Oakfield, where she was a member. She died early Thursday, Jan. 4, 1979, at St Agnes Hospital due to an apparent heart attack.
Pastor John Ruege will officiate, and burial will be in Avoca Cemetery at Oakfield. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until noon Saturday at Kohls Funeral Home, Oakfield, and at the church from noon Saturday until the time of services.
She was born May 28, 1895, in Dodge County. She was married to Franklin H. Ewald at Lomira on June 14, 1913.
Surviving are a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son and brother.
