George W. Howard II, of Wellington, formerly of Childress, died in Wellington January 23, 2003 at the age of 90.
Mr. Howard will be remembered as a farmer in the Quail Community in the 1950's. He was also a paint contractor before he retired.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Holly Howard of Childress; a son, George W. Howard III of Clarendon; daughters Gayle Newberry of Childress and Vanita Morgan of Wellington; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and many cherished friends.
