BAUMGARDNER, Dorothy McClintock, 77, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord Monday, July 22, 2002. She was a longtime member and Sunday School teacher at Second Presbyterian Church and was most recently a member of Bonsack Baptist Church and Virginia Heights Baptist Church.
She was born July 24, 1924, the daughter of the late Clyde E. and Alice McClintock of Bedford.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, William R. Baumgardner, Sr.; son and daughter-in-law, William R. Baumgardner, Jr. and Judith Markley Baumgardner of Roanoke; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Stuart and Keith Yeargan of Roanoke; three grandchildren; brother, Clyde E. McClintock of Harrisonburg; sister, Virginia M. Newton of Melbourne, Fla. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in the Old Dominion Memorial Gardens.
