GREENSBORO, NC – May 1989 – Mrs. Grace Bowman Caudill, 66 of 4731 Mitchell Avenue died Monday at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC.
She was a native of Booneville, a member of the World Wide Church of God, Greensboro and a member of the Guilford Quilting Guild. She was known internationally for her writings on quilting, and she was an author.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Edwin G. Caudill of the home; 1 daughters, Mrs. Rosemary Simpson Baugh, Santa Barbara, CA, Mrs. Mary Jo Simpson Pedersen of Pasadena, CA, 2 step-daughters, Mrs. Aprell C. Taylor, Columbia, MD; Mrs. Rhoda C. Icerman of Tallahassee, FL; 2 step-sons, Mrs. Charles J. Caudill, Knoxville, TN, and Mr. Edwin G. Caudill, Lexington, SC; 2 sisters of Houston, TX, Mrs. Thelma Jo Choppin and Mrs. Tana Palmer and 9 grandchildren.
