MARSHALL - Services for Christene Cadenhead Morgan, 100, of Marshall, will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2011, in the chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Interment will be in Algoma Cemetery.
Ms Morgan died March 14, 2011, at her home.
Born August 16, 1910, in Crossroads Community, she worked at Hotel Marshall in the 1930s, at Longhorn Ordinance Plant during World War II, and with Weingarten's Grocery chain.
She was an active member of Crossroads UMC. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011, at the funeral home.
