Maude Olive Scott, 99, of Ocala, passed away January 10, 2010 at her home. Born in Lawton, Oklahoma, she came to this area 14 years ago from Chandler, Arizona. She was a homemaker, attended Central Christian Church, Ocala and enjoyed sewing and quilting. She is survived by her daughters, Helen Beasley of Foley, AL and Evelyn Oaks of Ocala; sons, Clarence "Butch" Scott of Mesa, AZ, Charles Scott of Chandler, AZ and Russell Scott of Newton, NJ; 18 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry E. Scott. Visitation will be held at ROBERTS FUNERAL HOMES, Bruce Chapel East (2739 SE Maricamp Rd. Ocala 352-732-9944) on Wednesday (Jan. 13th) from 3-5PM with Funeral Services at 4:30PM. Interment will follow in Mesa, AZ. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Central Christian Church 3010 NE 14th St., Ocala 34470.
