Funeral Services for James H. Peden 65, well known attorney and former assistant district attorney will be held at 2:30 pm today at the Heights Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Park under the direction of the Heights Funeral Home. Mr. Peden died Sunday at his home 41 Tidwell Road.
He was the senior partner in the firm of Peden, Johnson & Peden. He had served as assistant district attorney under both O'Brien Stevens and J. Dixie Smith. He had served also as county attorney of Childress County and assistant district attorney in El Paso.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs James G. Flynn of Fort Worth and Mrs Robert Kiersky and Mrs J. W. Cozart of Houston; two brothers, a sister and three grandchildren.
