Sixth son of David Houston "Poca Dave" Brown and Rosa Jane Brown and husband of Ida Maude (Brunk) Brown. Tom was never known by his "real" name. He operated gasoline service stations in East Beckley, on Valley Drive in Beckley near the former Pete & Bob's restaurant, and in Tampa, FL after moving there with his family in the 1960s.
Tom was the father of Rex Brown.
