Mary Elizabeth (Shrum) Moore passed from this life into glory on Saturday, March 21, 2009, at her home in Leavenworth. She was born Nov. 11, 1924, in Cassville, Mo., the daughter of Homer and Bessie (Bradford) Shrum.
She was the wife of Joe D. Moore. He preceded her in death Oct. 16, 1980. She was the last remaining member of her birth family.
Mary is survived by her children, Judy Moore, Jerry (Ellen) Moore both of Leavenworth and Patty (Pete) Moore Mirakian of Olathe, Kan.; her grandchildren, McKayla Moore, Caci Moore, Peter (Michelle) Mirakian and Mike (Laura) Mirakian; her great-grandchildren, Joe Mirakian, Daniel Mirakian, David Mirakian and Noelle Mirakian.
She lived a full life and will be missed by her family and neighbors. She is in the Lord's presence now and reunited with her dearly loved husband, parents and siblings.
