Hilda J. Fisher, 69, of Point Pleasant, died unexpectedly Friday, May 22, 2009 at her home.
She was a homemaker and retired from the Nest Away in Cleveland, Ohio.
She was born Oct. 1, 1939 in Mason County, a daughter to the late Robert and Mattie Kinniard Dunn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Fisher Sr.; grandchildren, Danetta Jean Warden and Angela Le Warden; brothers, Marion, Chester and John McCarty; and sister, Edna Holcomb.
She is survived by two sons, Harvey A. Fisher Jr. of Lancaster, Ohio, and Robert Will Fisher of Ohio; daughter, Debra Jean (TG) Rainey of Gallipolis Ferry; sisters, Martha (Russell) Ball of Apple Grove, Catherine Brown of Pinch, Gertrude Simpkins of Pleasantville, Ohio, Betty (Bob) Rimmey of Point Pleasant, Kay Spurlock of Lesage and Virginia (Phillip) Pickens of Huntington; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial and graveside service will be at a later date in Barton Chapel Cemetery in Apple Grove. At her request, there will be no visitation.
