WARREN - Carroll D. Beagle, formerly of 4705 Parkman Rd., Warren, former pastor of Cortland church of Christ, died of congestive heart failure Saturday at 12:50 p.m. In Washington Square Nursing Home. He was 86. He was born July 4, 1906 in Ben 's Run, W. VA. a son of Owen and Grace Cline Beagle. He was a high school graduate and completed two years of college. Before serving as pastor at Cortland Church of Christ where he retired In 1975, Mr. Beagle also served several churches in West VIrginia. He was a member of Parkman Road Church of Christ and of the Golden Agers, and enjoyed reading and hunting. He leaves his wife, the former Mabel Stewart whom he married Oct. 16, 1926; two sons; Dean Beagle of Brookville. Fla. and Edgar Beagle of Indianapolis, Ind.; one daughter. Mrs. Max (Navella) King of Warren: one sister. Mrs. James (Pearl) Smith of Brookville. Fla.; two brothers. Dale Beagle and Clifford Beagle. both of Weirton. W.Va.: nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, One son, Robert Dale Beagle proceeded him in death. Services will be Tuesday at 11 a .m. at Cart W. Hall Funeral Home. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. and burial will be at Crown Hill Burial Park.
