BOONEVILLE - Mae Oaks Mink, 79, died Friday, May 12, 2000, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo after a brief illness. She was retired from Blue Bell Manufacturing and was a member of First Baptist Church in Booneville, where she kept the nursery for many years. She was the widow of Curtis Mink.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Lynn Jones officiating. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery.
Survivors include one son, Wade Oaks and his wife, Sue, of Booneville; one sister, Delia Aldridge of New Site; three brothers, Noah Lewis of Booneville, Robert Lewis of Greensboro. N. C., and Walker Lewis of Sheffield, Ala.; four grandchildren, Heather Matthews and her husband, Print, of Tupelo, Amanda Oaks, Mark Oaks and Matthew Oaks, all of Booneville.
Visitation will last from 1 p.m. until service time today.
