SWAINSBORO - Elmo Dennis Rich, 84 of Modock Road, died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Augusta after a long illness. The Emanuel County native was a retired barber and member of First United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lena M. Rich of Swainsboro; two daughters, Mrs. Edith Lyon of Metter and Mrs. Patsy Gray of Swainsboro; three sons, Wyatt and Dennis Rich, both of Swainsboro, and Bobby Rich of Valdosta; a sister, Mrs. Mary L, Kea of Swainsboro; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral: 2:30 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church, burial in Swainsboro Cemetery. Peebles-Curry Mortuary.
