A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 1995, in Vernonia Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. McKee died Jan. 5 at age 80.

She was born Oct. 24, 1914, near Mansfield, Wash. Her maiden name was Laymance. She grew up in Pateros, Wash.

She married Ralph M. McKee on Oct. 1, 1933. They moved in 1941 to Portland and in 1944 to Vernonia, where they owned and operated a dairy farm.

The couple moved to the Rainier community in 1990.

Mrs. McKee worked for several years in the Washington Grade School cafeteria. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Vernonia.

In addition to her husband, survivors are her son, Darrell of Longview, Wash.; daughters, Sharron Rockwood of Hillsboro and Peggy Kispert of Tillamook; brothers, Quentin Laymance of Seattle and Dale Laymance of Wenatchee, Wash.; sisters, Grace Laymance of Vancouver, Wash., and Mabel McKee of Kennewick, Wash.; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
