DANFORTH – Herbert W. Stoddard Sr., 70, husband of the late Julia Stoddard, passed away March 9, 2012, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Oct. 30, 1941, in Danforth, the son of Leroy and Cora Stoddard.

Herbert is survived by two sons, Herbert Stoddard Jr. and his wife, Tonya, and Warren Stoddard of Danforth; grandchildren, Billy and Angel Stoddard of Danforth and Cassi Stoddard of Topsfield; brothers, Thomas and Eugene Stoddard of Danforth; as well as special friends, Barry and Lois Smith, and Melonie Lutz. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by six brothers and a sister.

A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at Eaton Cemetery. (Bangor DAily News posted 3/11/2012)
