Violet G. Forth, 91, Miramar, Florida, a native of Sims, IL, died March 13, 1989 in Miramar. Mrs. Forth was born Nov. 9, 1897 in Sims, IL, the daughter of Samual and Florence Baker Tolbert. She was a 39 year resident of Broward County, Florida, moving there from Pontiac, IL, where she spent much of her youth. Surviving are a son, Gale Forth; two daughters, Hilda Van Winkle and Leilla Lower; two sisters, Zelma Sanders and Florence Stroud; a brother, Herman Tolbert; 13 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. Services were held at the Fred Hunter Funeral Home in Hollywood, FL with burial in the Hollywood Memorial Gardens there. [Wayne County, IL, newspaper]
