Stanley Edward Ellis, 65, of 1217 Colonial Ave., a shipfitter at Norfolk Naval Shipyard and a native of Portsmouth, died Sunday in a hospital.
He lived here for 60 years and was a Protestant.
Survivors include a brother, James R. Ellis of Norfolk, and nieces and nephews.
The body was taken to Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. A funeral will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Riverside Memorial Park by the Rev. Frank Collier.
