DEATH OF MRS. PATCHIN

Mrs. Ira Patchin died at her home in this town last Sunday morning, at the age of 74. Her father, Robert Dixson, came to Livonia at an early day and settled on a farm now owned by Ellis Stone. He subsequently removed to a farm at Livonia Center, where Mr. and Mrs. Patchin have resided for years. Capt. Dixson was for a long time prominently connected with town and county affairs, and was one of the early members of the Presbyterian church. Mrs. Patchin was a plain christian woman, devoted to her duties as wife, mother and neighbor. By her death the community loses a very exemplary woman. Survived by her husband Ira Patchin, sons Robert Patchin of Des Moines, and C. A. Patchin of this town.
