For more than thirty-four years Ezra Dixson, whose death occurred suddenly Wednesday morning, had been president of the Livonia union cemetery association. Mr. Dixson was 81 vears old. He was the son of Henry Dixson, and was born on the Dixson homestead east of this village, where he lived until about two years ago, when he moved to Livonia Center. He married Ann Elizabeth Purdy in 1858, and there is one son Henry who lives in Buffalo, a grandson, Willard, and a nephew, Frank D. Kingsbury, of Corning. Mr. Dixson was one of Livonia's best citizens, a man of character and standing. His death is a distinct loss to the community and to the Presbyterian church, with which he had for many years been closely identified. The funeral will be held tomorrow from the house at 1 o'clock.
