DE LEON - James A. Clements, 89, died Thursday at his home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in the Nowlin Funeral Home Chapel with Tom Satterwhite officiating. Graveside will be at 3 p.m. in Childress Cemetery.
Mr. Clements was born in Comanche County and lived in the De Leon area for several years. He was a farmer and rancher. He was the widower of May Farley, who he married in 1924 in Childress County, and Jewell Frank, whom he married in 1969 in De Leon. He married Ila Clements in 1985 in Eastland County and was a Protestant.
Survivors include his wife, Ila Clements of De Leon; one brother, Tom Clements of Washington state; and one sister, Lela Thompson of De Leon.
