Mary Lou Graham, 75, of Chattanooga, TN was carried home to her faithful Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 12, 2011, following a short battle with melanoma cancer.

Mary Lou was part of the Christian fellowship at Berean Baptist Church. She had been employed by Volunteer State Life Insurance Company and Chubb Life. Mary Lou was a wonderful cook and loved having friends and family in her home for meals and fellowship.

She was a strong Christian, who loved the Bible and was a prayer warrior. Mary was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ her Lord. She loved His Word and allowed Him to strengthen her life. She loved to garden and can vegetables with her husband of 54 years.

She loved her family and others and most often put others first. She enjoyed all of Gods creation. She has entered the throne of Heaven through His grace and mercy in her Lord and Savior (Psalm 116:15).

Mary Lou was a daughter of the late Will and Willie Day Braly and also preceded in death by twin brothers, Dr. Samuel Uhland Braly and the Rev. Edwin Harris Braly and infant brother, William Archibald Braly Jr.

Survivors are her husband, James Gayland Graham, who said "She was my right hand and the beating heart of our home. She believed that Gods grace and mercy had protected our family all these years."; three daughters, Beverly Dawn (John) Parker, Chattanooga, TN, Catherine Elizabeth (Gary) Hunsaker, Columbia, SC, and Rebecca Gaylyne (Scott) Brogdon, Falling Water, TN; oldest sister, Sara Frances Davelaar, Tacoma, WA, and her twin sister, Nona Sue (Fred) Nichols, Bartlett, TN; nine grandchildren, Bethany Parker (Janssen) Firth, Birmingham, AL, John R. (Diane) ParkerIII, Huntsville, AL, Emily Grace Parker, Chattanooga, TN, Steven Gary Hunsaker, Jeremy William Hunsaker and Hanna Catherine Hunsaker, all of Columbia, SC, Payton Tyler Brogdon, Clarksville, TN, Jessica Nicole Brogdon and Leah Gaylyne Brogdon, both Falling Water, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 3 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Lane Funeral Home with the Rev. Glen Huguenin and the Rev. Jesse Lass officiating.

Graveside services are 3 p.m. CDT Wednesday at Rogers-Sanford Cemetery, Henderson, TN, with the Rev.Paul Roaten officiating.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today and 2-3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
