Nellie Walker Acors, 89, of Fredericksburg died Saturday, June 30, 2001, at her home.
She had worked as a child-care provider and as a hotel manager for Mary Washington Inn. She was a member of First Christian Church of Fredericksburg.
Survivors include two daughters, Stephanie Colvin and Allison Colvin, both of Fredericksburg; three sisters, Ruth Irving of Fredericksburg, Lucille Yant of Fort Myers, Fla., and Grace Everson of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a brother, Jessie Louis of Fort Wayne; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, with the Rev. Scott Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
