Cecil M. Talley will be buried in Mt Olivet Cemetery today following services at Stufflebean Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be 2:00 PM. Tueday, July 7 with Rev Boyd Stiless officating. Mrs Talley, who was 75 and a Pauls Valley resident, was a retired nurse, having served at the Lindsay-Johnson Hospital in Pauls Valley. She lived in Pauls Valley all her life and was a member of the Christian Life Pentacostal Church.
Talley was born May 28, 1912 in Garvin County and died July 5, in the Colonial Nursing Home. She is Survived by son Murl Davis, and his wife Peggy of Pauls Valley and son Tommy Talley of Liberal, Kansas. Also surving are three sisters, Thelma Engelke, of Pauls Valley, Beatrice Feurgerson of Foster, and Imogene Lewellen of Fresno, Ca; two brothers, Sanford Davis of Okla City, Ralph Davis of Winnewood, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs Talley was preceded in death by son, Corkey Talley and her husband Preston Talley on Nov 1, 1992 in Purcell.
