She was born in Wabash, Ind., and lived in Fort Pierce for 47 years. She lived in Florida since 1959.
She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, John Trout of Fort Pierce; daughter, Sue Ladner of Deltona; son, David A. Trout of Fort Pierce; brother, Earl Garber of Arizona; sister, Linda Garber of Indiana; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Garber; and sister, LaVerne Montel.
