Lawrence Willis Cash, 60, 538 Montrose, a retired meat-packer, died at 5:30 pm Thursday at St. John's Hospital.

Mr. Cash had been in ill health several years. He had worked as a meat-packer for 24 years with the Butzer Packing Company and Banfield Packing Company and later with the C-K Packing Company.

He was born in Anderson County, Missouri, and had lived in Salina for 55 years.

Surviving are the widow, Annettie R.; two sons, William, Council Bluffs, Iowa and Carol Lee, 213 N. Chicago; two daughters, Mrs. Arlo Robertson, 512 W. Wilson and Mrs. Marilyn Washob, 302 Birch; a brother, Dorsie P., Blanchard, Oklahoma; a sister, Mrs. Iva Johannes, 1027 E. Iron and 13 grandchildren.

Mr. Cash was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Rush Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery.
