Pansy Foster Channell, 90, was born July 10, 1924 and God called her home on December 18, 2014. The services will be held at Strong Hope Baptist Church December 20, 2014 with visitation from 11am-1pm with services at 1pm.

She was a native of Rockport and lived in Mississippi until 1960. She moved to Chicago, IL, and Riverdale, IL until 1978 and moved back to Mississippi until present.

She was a member of Strong Hope Baptist Church. She was a member of the Eastern Star since 1947, William Oliver Chapter 176, Order of the Eastern Star, Wesson, MS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Manley and Mollie Harris; sisters, Vera Mae Beasley, Melba Traxler, and Catherine Burns, and brother, L. E. Harris.She is survived by her children, Ed Foster and wife Sue; Sue Bowlin and husband Randy; grandchildren, Daniel Bowlin, Heather Laird and Joe Foster; great grandchildren, Brandon Bowlin and Ethan Laird. Memorials may be made to Strong Hope Baptist Church. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.
