Mrs. Augustein, 68, a resident of Alliance most of her life, died at her home. She was the daughter of Otha William "Jack" Aeling and Ruth Ernestine (Donohue) Aeling.

In 1952, she married Paul Clement Augustein. Born to this union were 7 children: 4 sons, including an infant, Paul William, Ernest Robert, Rockie Dennis; 3 daughters; Susan Louise, Doris Dionne and Ruth Ann.

A member of the Ladies of the Amaranth of the Masonic Temple and the Tri-County UFO Study Group, she enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, painting, reading and animal rescues.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, 1934-1991; 2 sons, Paul, in 1971, and the infant; and 2 brothers, Delbert and Leonard Aeling.

Survivors include: 2 sons, Ernie and Rocky; 3 daughters, Susan Sebrell, Ruthie Augustein, of the home, and Doris Augustein; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Herbert Aeling.

A Celebration of Life service was held at the Sebrell residence on June 2, with arrangements by Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.
