Delman was a veteran of the U.S. Army and Indiana National Guard.
He is survived by his children, Sandra K. Hicks of Nashville, IN and Anthony W. Nelson of Indianapolis; five grandchildren and one great grandchild; sisters, Sharon Henderson of Celestine, IN and Linda Napier of Winslow, IN.
Delman was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Keith Nelson
