Statesboro - Mrs. Gloria Sue Hunter, 40, died Friday at Talmadge Memorial Hospital in Augusta after a long illness. The Bulloch County native was a member of New Corinth Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Willie C. Hunter of Statesoro; two daughters, Misses Gloria Ann and Sue Lynn Hunter, both of Statesboro; two sons, Marvin and Ronnie Lee Hunter, both of Statesboro; her mother, Mrs. Mary Mobley of Statesboro; eight sisters, Mrs. Karen Moore, Miss Annette Mobley, Mrs. Jo Ann Irvin and Mrs. Vivian Ward, all of Statesboro, Mrs. Lillian Silas, Miss Lucille Mobley and Mrs. Kelley Franklin, all of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Christine Sawyer of Register; and two brothers, James C. Mobley of Jacksonville, Fla., and Blois Mobley of Statesboro.

Funeral: 1 p.m. today at Thomas Grove Baptist Church in Statesoro, burial in East Side Cemetery. James R. Barnes Mortuary of Statesboro.
