Clifton Everett Cameron, 91, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011, in Granbury. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday in Martin's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Holly Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 1:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Clifton was born April 17, 1919, in Antlers, Okla. He was a World War II veteran, a 32nd-degree Mason and a retired general foreman for Brown and Root. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Molly Cameron; wife, Alta Cameron, in 1998, two brothers, Archie and Fred Cameron; sister, Lucy Mixon; one daughter, Mary Brinlee; and one grandson, Jamie McAnally.
Survivors: Brothers, Arthur "Skeet" Cameron of Woodville, Virgil Cameron of Carson City, Nev., and Dan Cameron of Taft, Calif.; daughters, Gerry Howe of Granbury and Sharon Rea of Tomball; sons, Jimmie Cameron and Dewey Cameron of Pace, Fla.; 30 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and multiple great-great-grandchildren.
