Mrs. Frances Houser Belton, 66, of Washington, D.C. and formerly of Stanley died Wednesday morning, Dec. 26, at George Washington University Hospital.

She was born Jan. 18, 1913 in West Virginia and was a daughter of the late John V. and Lillie Short Houser.

Surviving are a son, John P. Belton of Manassas, a daughter, Mrs. Patricia A. Wessell of Vincennes, Ind.; two brothers, John O. Houser of Shenandoah and E. Page Houser of Stanley, and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Bauserman of Luray and Mrs. Lois Dienet of New Jersey.

A funeral service was conducted Saturday, Dec. 29, at the Bradley Funeral Home. Burial was in Graves Chapel Cemetery.
