Del and his wife Cheryl were married for fifteen years and enjoyed a happy, peaceful time together. He was an mechanical engineer and served in the United States Navy. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge. Del's passion in life was spending time with his brothers and sisters at the car races. He loved his family and friends and will be missed and mourned by all who knew him.
Del is preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Erik Lochkovic.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Baysinger of the home; one son, Preston Smith of Sherwood; two daughters, Debbie Lochkovic of North Little Rock and Kendra Smith of Nash, TX; five brothers, Bobby Baysinger, Billy Joe Baysinger, Hubert Baysinger, Cairl Baysinger and Danny Baysinger, all of Harriet; three sisters, Louise Brown and Sue Baysinger O'Haver, both of Harriet and JoAnne Harkey of Cabot; three grandchildren, Erin Lochkovic, David Lusty IV and Nadia Lochkovic; and two great-grandchildren, Ethan Lochkovic and Dreyton Merck.
Services for Delbert Baysinger will be 2:00 PM Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall with Bro. David Watts officiating. Visitation will be 6—8 PM Saturday, March 12, 2011 also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery.
