Ellis T. Owens, 90, of Corsicana, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2001, in Dallas.
Visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Corley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Mahoney officiating. Interment will be at Younger Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Robert Chapman, Earnest Owens, Glenn Wilcox, Herbert Wilcox, Matthew Davis and Leo Summers.
Mr. Owens was born Nov. 1, 1910, in Blooming Grove. He was retired from the Southern Pacific Railroad with 40 years of service and a member of the Brotherhood of Retired Rail Road Workers.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Wanda Owens Moore.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys C. Owens of Corsicana; brother, Chester Owens of Purdon; sister, Vergie Summer of Mart; granddaughter, Carrie Moore and Matthew Davis of Garland; great granddaughters, Collen Olivia Davis of Garland and Miranda Loraine Davis of Garland and numerous nieces and nephews.
