Kenneth, 84, departed this life on Thursday, at the home of his daughter in Clare County.

Kenneth was born in Ford City, to the late Shad Lyman and Beatrice Susan (Forton) Wilson.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Kenneth was married in Detroit on March 19, 1951 to Marie C. "Chuckie" Guitar, and she preceded Kenneth in death in 2002. The couple moved from Detroit to Prudenville in 2001. Kenneth was a mechanic and later became an instructor of mechanics at a Detroit area trade school. He was a member of the Eastpointe Eagles Aerie #2495 for over 53 years, he enjoyed fishing and the couple spent many good times enjoying bingo.

Surviving Mr. Wilson are his six daughters; Sandra (David) Pocket of Gladwin, Linda (Paul) Schwab of Milford, JoAnne (Peter) Kairunas of Blanchard, Cheryl (Don Briskey) Dunbar of Nevada, Mary Acker of Nevada, and Diane (Joseph) Arnold of Clinton Twp.; one son; Michael (Jeanne) Wilson of Clinton Twp.; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Byrne of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Marie; daughter, Patti Lou; two brothers; and three sisters.

Christler Funeral Home, Prudenville Chapel is serving the family.
