REFORM Nona Driver Mills, age 96, of Reform, died October 9, 2013, at Salem Nursing & Rehab. Memorial Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Blakney officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her husbands, Burton Driver (1950) and Marlon Mills (1995); son, Clinton Driver; son-in-law, Olen K. Lee; her parents; four sisters and five brothers.Survivors include her daughter, Merry Carol Lee of Gordo, Ala.; sons, Clayburn Driver (Sandra) of Gordo, Ala. and Clyde Driver (Teresa) of Hamilton, Ala.; sisters, Gracie Brandon of Columbus, Miss. and Alice Carlile of Iuka, Miss.; brother, James Lewis of Leeds, Ala.; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.Mrs. Mills was born June 15, 1917 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Harvey Lewis and Lillie Mae Gay Lewis. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church and homemaker. A life long resident of Pickens County, Nona enjoyed family and friends. During her lifetime, her favorite things were working in her vegetable and flower gardens and playing with her grandchildren and her favorite accomplishment was raising four children on her own. Keeping God's wishes in mind was always at the forefront of her life's theory.The family wishes to thank Salem Nursing and Rehabilitation Center's nursing and management staff for all their hard work!In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Southern Care, Inc. (Hospice),3835 Watermelon Rd., Suite 3 & 4, Northport, AL 35476. .
