Thomas A. McKinstry, sixty-eight, 224 S. Spruce St., Elizabethtown, died at 12:55 a.m. Tuesday at his home, after an illness of three months. He was employed for several years by Olmstead Air Force Base, Middletown, until his retirement on year ago. Born in Lancaster, a son of the late Edward McKinstry and Anna Apple McKinstry, he was a resident of Elizabethtown for four years. He was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, (Evangelical and Reformed), Elizabethtown. Besides his wife, Maude Welcomer KcKinstry, surviving are three children, Dr. Donald W., Rockville, Md.; Jessie A., wife of Robert L. Hayden, Marietta R1; and Mrs. Virginia Dengler, at home; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also surviving are four brothers and sisters, Edward, Mountville; Maude, wife of Harry Gibble, and Mary, wife of A. Vincent Hurst, both of Lancaster; and John, Atlantic City, NJ.
