Daina Sue

We will not forget Daina Sue,
Noble heart, strong and true.
Pain and its minions ran up the score,
Overcoming what was before.

But she didn't crumble, nor bow at their feet,
Nor whine at the Ref, nor fall in defeat,
Nor carp at the unfair roll of the dice.
She's a woman of faith, a pearl of great price!

A woman of faith, with never a balk,
Kept walking the walk and talking the talk.
Teaching to all that came on her way,
To trust in the Lord, to trust and obey.

She fought the good fight, finished the race,
Kept the good faith with courage and grace.
The battle is over, the victory is won,
Life forever has just begun!
Amen and Amen.
