Virgil C. Bahr, 56, of 2690 Jay Road, Town of Belgium, died Wednesday afternoon at St. Nicholas Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Bahr was born Oct. 17, 1929, in the Town of Belgium, son of John and Margaret Demge Bahr. On April 23, 1955, he married Arlene Schaller at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church. Mr. Bahr farmed all of his life in the Dacada area. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Dacada, the Holy Name Society of the church, and the Catholic Order of Foresters. He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Roy (Joyce) Sandee of Random Lake; three sons, Michael, Thomas and William, all at home; three grandchildren; a brother, Alois of Port Washington; and a sister, Mrs. Leonard Colden of Wauwatosa. He was preceded in death by a daughter, a sister, and two brothers. ' A funeral Mass will be offered Friday at 8 p.m. at St. Nicholas . Catholic Church. The Rev. David Wilbur, associate pastor, will be celebrant of the Mass, which will be preceded by family rites at 7:30 p.m. at Jungers-Eernisse Funeral Home in Dacada. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Lake Church.
