JOHN TYLER CADENHEAD

John Tyler Cadenhead died from gasoline burns suffered nearly three months earlier on 5 May 1940 in Warrior, Alabama.


Son of Wilburn Ivey Cadenhead and Elendar Elizabeth Hornsby.


Husband of Mabel Clair Milam, by first marriage.

His children with Mabel were: Lois Roberta Cadenhead and John Tyler Cadenhead Jr.


Husband of Ruby Laura Koehler, by second marriage. Ruby had also been his step-daughter. She was the oldest child of Mabel Clair Milam, John's first wife.

His children with Ruby were: Robert Ivey Cadenhead, Warren Henry Cadenhead, Leland Milton Cadenhead, and Leona Jean Cadenhead.


Survived by his brother A. L. Cadenhead of Whistler, Alabama.


Funeral services from Luquire Chapel, 1115 N. 24th Street, Birmingham, Alabama, on Wednesday, 31 July 1940, at 3 p.m.

Interment in Oakland Cemetery, Birmingham, Alabama.
